Disappoint you. I know you’re a democracy fundamentalist. But in reality as an ideology nationalism is stronger than democracy. It’s worldwide, not just MAGA in U.S.
As I said earlier, because no global government/police in this system, countries must worry about their survival, their security which are always their top priority in their policies.
with that being said we do have a very weak international order under which countries can cooperate on something. But I don’t put too much weight on it.
