Help me understand the impeachment threat. I’ve seen it thrown around a lot

By the normal TDSers but what good would it do. It was done twice and all it did was waste time and money. Trump still was able to run and got elected. It served no purpose other than letting some smug, self important assholes talk about someone they hate.

They turned Trump into a martyr and he used it well.
