Let it be noted that the inevitable progression commenced:

1. There is no problem. It's a Republican boogeyman (or "bogeyman," if you lapse into British lingo spontaneously, like Chris).
2. Okay, it happened.
3. It happened, but it's insignificant (and what about January 6th, Project 2025, QAnon, the new WH ballroom, all the lynchings of black people this past year, and the firing of State Dept. employees).

Soon, we will see step four: It happened, and it's a good thing it happened.
