There is a reason why congress changed the agency's name to CDC in 1990s. Disease control first,then outbreak prevention. Priorities of public health in a developed country like U.S. is different than that of a developing country. Glad RFK jr laser focuses on the chronic disease epidemic like soaring rates of obesity, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, autism… Because CDC grew too large and distracted by corporate interests which harmed Americans for decades, I’m also glad RFK jr targets CDC bureaucracy and food industry.
