I'm kinda in the personal responsibility POV on this one... as I was with smoking.
The dangers are blatantly apparent.
But hell... I don't even venture down 80% of the supermarket aisles.
We are a nation of junk eaters and try to clean it up with drugs that are even more dangerous.
Prescription weight loss medications, particularly GLP-1 receptor agonists like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound, often cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, and heartburn. Other common issues include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and injection-site reactions for injectable forms
Stimulant-based drugs (e.g., phentermine, diethylpropion) can increase heart rate and blood pressure, cause insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, and carry a risk of dependence or abuse
Fat blockers like orlistat may lead to oily stools, gas, fecal urgency, and nutrient absorption issues
