Even back in Nixon's days the GOP and Rs could only go so far then their patriotism and duty to the nation took over (barely) and Nixon was gone.

Being impeached twice for conditions that would have immediately put Nixon out of the Whitehouse back then were nothingburgers to this group
and this breed of R. Now that he's out of the Whitehouse he is still creating havoc with his rhetoric and lies and the GOP is hanging on each one
as if he is still there. They will defend his time in office to keep their sense of righteousness alive.

Today, no such conscience is there. We can see it on this board. Other than Chad (barely) these R's are in a ...
