The point of the article in Science was to call the lab leak into question. But the strongest point also calls zoonotic origin into question.

I am afraid that we will never know the actual source of this virus. I do think that speed of vaccine development means that we probably don't need to be fishing for potentially dangerous viruses in bat caves. All we need is a dna sequence now.
