services and instead signed on with Auburn...it was then quite obvious what the 'rules of the game' had become...and now we have "NIL" payments...portals, etc...

I pray that ND doesn't go down that proverbial "slippery slope" to the mercenary bottom...if it takes forming another league with Duke, Rice, Vandy, etc...I'm ok with that...otherwise, the true 'thrill of College Football is Gone for me'...
