Check the war machines on both sides. It depends how long the war machine can run.

If the war machine of at least one side is running out of gas, the war is going to end. Just check a key part of the war machine of both sides - economy. Let me know what you find. At this moment, my math and info tells me the earliest date of ending war is next January-Feburary. Of course a war machine has many parts, many variables. My estimate is only based on one part.

HIMARS has range (and of course accuracy), but not powerful. HIMARS meant to give more damage to Russia (therefore more escalation from Russia), but not meant to win the war. Too lightweight in my opinion. Actually M777 is more important than HIMARS in term of winning the war.
