“They” didn’t do anything. One guy did. It was minor. He got caught.

THEY don’t want to make mistakes like that. THEY are going to be exceptionally careful when investigating the former prez. THEY know everything they do will be picked over by partisan cultists, so THEY damn well dot all Is and cross all Ts.

You can’t reason someone out of a position they have not reasoned their way into.
