Interesting thing is, I went on a mini vacation to Memphis about ten years ago. Graceland, Memphis Zoo, Lorraine Hotel, Sun Studios, checked out the Liberty Bowl stadium, walked Memphis University, went to Mass, Mississippi riverboat cruise. ribs, catfish, slaw, Beale Street. Went through some sketchy areas. I'm born and raised Gary, Indiana, so there was no shock value on my end. Been there, done that. Never had an issue in Memphis. Probably just lucky I guess .
