that the Guard needs to be returned to DC? At least through the new year, after the election. If the first crazed, armed insurrection was horrifying, what on earth will the seismic destruction of the inevitable second insurrection wreak? How will we justify ourselves to posterity when thousands die as a result of this inaction? How will we explain to our grandchildren that with all the data presented to us by federal law enforcement of this imminent threat that we just sat by while the Republic and democracy itself was destroyed on our watch?
I'm a simple man. I can't hope to match the sophisticated notions of people more learned than I, but, and I hesitate to even proffer this explanation, is it possible that many of the most hysterical about our insurrection are, paradoxically, not particularly worried about this growing threat? Their sentiments seem so heartfelt.
