Slavery has been a staple of the human condition since before Jesus walked the earth. That it occured early in the America's long before the White man arrived is also true. If one is looking for reparations these days I assure you there are many responsible parties all over the World that should be paying them many of them of color. The British led the world in abolishing slavery and their navy enforced that prohibition at a high cost of British lives and we followed suit in the late 1800s with Presidend Lincoln so our record as a country is better than most.

    • It's amazing how uneducated people are on this topic. Lots of people in this country think - jray - 4:14pm 9/22/22
      • Slavery is still an issue today. Governments turn a blind eye for political and financial reasons. [NT] - ELP - 5:05pm 9/22/22
