As mentioned below, Brey changing the offense blew this game

WHY...WHY...DOES BREY KEEP DOING THIS???

Had a 61-56 lead against Kentucky's undefeated team, then he changes to a burn offense that allowed Kentucky back into the game and eventually win.

And tonight, the regular offense was abandoned late in favor of letting Wesley single-handedly try to win the game. I would love it if a reporter would ask, "Mike, late in the game your regular offense, which allowed you to take control of the game, was abandoned in favor of letting Blake Wesley go one-on-five the last few possessions. Was this a coaching decision or did Wesley take it upon himself to do this?"

    • No explanation other than, he likes to out think what's working and obvious. He did it with aplomb - jimbasil - 9:38pm 3/20/22
    • Brey has used this same end of game policy since Chris Thomas. - Irishize - 9:38pm 3/20/22
