Anything below top 5 in the ACC standings will be a disappointment.

They return three graduate players who all started, one of whom, Laszewski, played against the best last spring/summer when he entered the draft and played at draft camps and tried out for various NBA teams. He may never play in the NBA, but that experience should have elevated his game. Goodwin isn't a star, but he has a nice offensive game when he isn't the focal point of the offense, and he should be around 40% from three. He also gets to the line a fair amount and is an 85-90% type of FT shooter. Ryan is one of the best defensive players in the conference. Good rebounder as well. His scoring is hit and miss.

Above all else, Brey brought in two studs, Starling and Lubin. Both will start from the outset. While Wesley has the better first step, Starling is much more polished and twice the shooter. If you haven't seen him play, you will be very impressed. ND hasn't had someone like that since Chris Thomas, pre-injuries. Lubin already has a better body than anyone else on the team, is athletic, and is relentless. I don't think he will be at ND more than two years. The third freshman, Campbell, will also be very good in time, but he's still reshaping his body. I think Zona will be the guy off the bench when Laszewski and Lubin need a blow.
