Conferences provide red tape and shared revenues, and a bunch of $hitty opponents/games no one gives a $hit about. While your response is pithy and biting, it’s completely the opposite of what im suggesting.
I’m talking about getting a very talented great team and touring like the Globetrotters or Taylor Swift, not joining the Darlings band on the Andy Griffith show. We are talking “shamrock series” for basketball…obviously after the football season, when entertainment options are limited and social obligations of the paying public are limited.
