I disagree the team plays "soft" defense, because when you're out-athleted (as we also were under Brey), it can appear you're not giving much effort.

But results are results. I can't imagine Bevacqua letting Year 5 happen after a bad Year 4. The worst case scenario is improving enough to make the NIT and calling that enough progress to justify keeping him on.
