Thankfully deleted. The rumor that you put forth in your first paragraph has been denounced by people in position to know. It appears that McGregor had no contact at all with ND after his silent commit to UM. Even the initial belief that Elston had visited McGregor after he silent committed to UM has been refuted. There is nothing to be gained by repackaging these rumors on this board. As another poster said, "time to move on." The kid picked another school. That's about it.
