I don't get the too cold thing. Most soccer clubs are practicing outdoors all winter....

even in the snow if it's not too deep. Could it be more likely that football players in the North just decide to play basketball in the Winter? Basketball is much bigger up North.
I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.
