More good news, WHO says asymptomatic spread is rare

The more we learn, the more control we have and as every day ticks down we are going to improve our treatments and therapies as well as be closer to a vaccine.

The fear was mass amounts of asymptomatic people were unknowingly spreading COVID. Now that it appears to not be true, it gets simpler. If you’re sick, stay home. Temperature checks now become very valuable. If your colleague is sick, send them home. If a customer appears sick, end the meeting. If a student is sick, send them home. It’s now easier to test and isolate.

I’m more confident than ever that college football will happen in the fall.

    • This really ridiculous. - Karamello - 11:29am 6/8/20
    • I am not expecting any collegiate season to happen until there's a vaccine. [NT] - ImWearingJeanShorts - 9:56am 6/8/20
      • Come on Shorts. If that's the criteria, we may not have a 2021 season either. A treatment is the key [NT] - Irish_Demon - 6:20pm 6/8/20
      • Wrong [NT] - CC72 - 1:57pm 6/8/20
    • It should not change anything. Those kids did not get it from other players, they already had it - DadUdaMan4 - 9:32am 6/8/20
    • So, then, what percentage of the overall student population is positive? [NT] - TakethetrainKnute - 9:10am 6/8/20
      • That will be interesting to see. They will test everyone who is returning. - Frank L - 10:13am 6/8/20
        • Yes, I think the asymptomatic in that age bracket is a significant percentage... [NT] - TakethetrainKnute - 10:33am 6/8/20
          • I know that some of my kids friends from LS have already tested positive and never knew they had it. - Frank L - 11:06am 6/8/20
            • Right...because when you're in your 20s and not 80s it's nothing more than a bad cough. - Karamello - 11:32am 6/8/20
              • Normally not an issue with that age group unless there is an underlying condition also in play. [NT] - Frank L - 11:45am 6/8/20
