Well, there was a college season during the Spanish Influenza in 1918

But we will not have one, I bet. Even though the Wuhan is WAY less dangerous than the Spanish, society today is far more risk averse. If you let players play and fans voluntarily attend, you will be accused of killing everyone else. ND doesn’t seem like a place that would be willing to undergo that.
