live up to the hype. You have written about them. And based on their assets and list of schools recruiting them the next one was a sure winner. What happened? They sat on the bench for one or two years learning the system and when they finally started they failed to develop.
So while I hope the new recruit is the real thing at QB how many of The ND QB’s ended up transferring, after losing their starting job? The next savior never shows up and fails to develop. It’s always the next recruit.
As you said 11 years should be enough time to have developed at least one great QB. Which is the most important position in college football. Let’s hope this is the guy.
