Sure, but rather than predating, it was actually a video adaptation of a radio talk show on WGN

It was at it's zenith in the mid 80s with those great Bears teams. Except for Rick Telander, I wasn't a big fan of any one of the regulars, but the chemistry between them made the show work. Especially with the eccentric fight promotor, Ben Bentley as the moderator.
