Said Liufau was a "liability" earlier in the season because he just wasn't "there yet" in terms of every down play. He suggested that the best use of him right now is in pass situations where he can just be turned loose, and that he has a lot of upside beyond that once he rounds out his game. It is definitely not a "freshman" thing since Liufau is a sophomore (and I really don't get why people are still beating the "freshman don't play" drum with Mayer, Tyree, and Lewis all playing as true freshmen.) Marist played a hell of a game yesterday. Hopefully just the tip of the ice berg.
