They've had three consecutive classes with about half of each class being multi year developmental projects, and seem to not want to, nor think they need to land more highly rated impact players. That only gets you so far in today's game. We have Kyle Hamilton for one more season before he's gone to the NFL, I can't think of what the secondary would have looked like all season without him. And I just think we're at the point where we should be landing 1-2 5* per year, with about 6-8 total in the top 150. Too often though I read about how they break off communication for too long with top targets they identify early (like Del Alexander did with Tyler Morris over the summer) and it drives me insane. For once I'd like to see them hit on their top wants at multiple positions and not have to fall back on options B, C, D, etc. Two to three more of those types each year add up.
