Hey, it is 2020 so anything can happen

In the highly unlikely event Florida beats Alabama, it gets really weird.

I think Florida is out unless they destroy Alabama and we know the likelihood of that. Since the NCAA has already established a precedent for picking a non-conference winner, the big question is does A&M get in if Florida wins?

I think that OSU is in if they beat NW and the rationale will be the same one that the Big Ten used to let Ohio State in.

Assuming the most predicable outcomes, it will be Alabama, Clemson, OSU, ND unless ND gets smoked by Clemson.

Who is the 4th team if Alabama, ND and Clemson are in and OSU isn't?

Like I said, it's 2020!

  • Unlikely but what if Florida wins Saturday? Irish vs Texas AM and Bama vs tOSU? [NT] - DonMiller - 11:00pm 12/14/20 (13) [View All]
    • If Clemson were to lose another close game, who's to say they shouldn't be in the playoff? Two loss - WestCoastIrishFan - 9:42am 12/15/20

    • IMHO. I don't think a 6 win OSU should get in, despite their pre-season potential. 6 wins is not 11. [NT] - ELP - 9:22am 12/15/20
