Could ND be a #3 seed and we see an immediate rematch?

The conventional thinking is the Irish fall to #4, or the slimmer possibility is out of the playoffs altogether.

But not so fast, my friend. Ohio State's resume isn't all that sparkling, and with playing only 6 games, the committee may decide to keep the Irish at #3. While I don't put the odds of this as great, I do think the possibility exists.

Finally, remember the committee has always said they give the same weight to the first week as the last week, so the fact that when ND lost may not mean anything.

    • It's possible. I'd rather play Bama first though. [NT] - NDavenue - 11:16am 12/20/20
    • If they make us #4, they avoid a dreaded third game with Clemson. [NT] - Irishize - 11:02am 12/20/20
      • And a Bama matchup would be just as dreadful....It's a lose/lose [NT] - NfanD94 - 11:21am 12/20/20
        • But we should be able to score more than 10 against Bama, if Book will throw the ball [NT] - jrdjr84 - 11:58am 12/20/20
