Regardless, it was the turning point in the game

You could tell ND had been told leading up to this game that previous mistakes simply wouldn't fly against Clemson. After that critical mistake, they knew they just lost the game and played that way the rest of the way.

Really this is a problem with the coaching, if you play to not make mistakes, you won't play full speed and you have no chance.
