Striker-fired semi-autos are just as safe as revolvers. In the end following safety rules trumps all
Muzzle discipline...don't point it at anything you don't want to kill.
Trigger discipline...don't put your finger on the trigger unless you just cleared the chamber or you want the gun to fire.
Don't carry unless in a secure holster that covers the trigger guard.
