The college football landscape is littered with high school stars who had difficulty making the transition. Remember Blake Barrett? We will see how Buchner develops and how fast he does. Kelly isn't exactly a rock star when it comes to developing stud qbs, hence we have Book.
The narrative that Coan has a weak arm is pretty much inane. He will be a far more effective qb that Book (who also doesn't have much of an arm) because he knows how to pass, a skill that Book never mastered.
