That is 100% why the University opened their in-house investigation

If Pruitt had been winning, there is no way that Tennessee would have started this investigation. While it might save them money on the buyout, it looks like they may have opened a Pandora's box. When the NCAA begins their look-in, they might just find enough to apply bowl bans and scholarship reductions to Tennessee.
