describe him as a Meyer QB. Generally speaking, any spread offense with zone read concepts is going to have something of Meyer's offense (though Meyer credits Bill Snyder at Kansas State when Michael Bishop was his QB with originating it). I happened to read a detailed article at Volswire a week or so ago on Day's offense in which any mention of a direct influence of Meyer on Day is conspicuous by its absence, and so I asked, how is Fields a Meyer QB.
As to Fields's pro prospects, he has rocket arm with natural accuracy, a rare combination. That's no guarantee of success, but hard to pass up.
