There's no question that a developed Tyler Buchner would be the best QB we've had in a long time.
The problem is, that one hear of high school experience isn't going to make a QB ready to step into a complex offense.
Some folks might say "well, Trevor Lawrence started as a true freshman," but there's one noticeable difference...
Lawrence was a 4 year starter at QB at a powerhouse high school, and excelled against top notch competition there as well. He was already very well polished from the start.
I love Buchner's potential, and especially his attitude, but right now, he's simply not ready to play. There's no substitute for real experience.
