- That is my main beef with him. He can't recruit a decent QB which is by far ND's main problem.NT NDQuebec 1:50pm · 10/19/22
  - This is ridiculous, ND has had more talent at the QB position, since 2010, than most programs. Clem 6:20pm · 10/19/22
    - 100%NT oldirish 11:29pm · 10/19/22
    - This is all anyone needs to know about the QB position at ND. Totally agree!!NT GaSubwayIrish 10:18pm · 10/19/22
- Rees deserves a ton of heat GaSubwayIrish 11:37pm · 10/18/22
- Pyne is an average QB, on a good day. AlbanyIRISH 9:08pm · 10/18/22
  - Pyne was a 4 Star Elite 11 QB BillsND 2:01pm · 10/19/22

  - And a bad QB on an average dayNT OklahomaIrishman 11:44pm · 10/18/22
  - He is more than good enough to win all the games so far with proper coaching and gameplans.NT GaSubwayIrish 11:26pm · 10/18/22
    - How many QBs is he better than, vs. the teams we have played so far ?NT OklahomaIrishman 12:11am · 10/19/22
      - Very Good Question....I hesitate to give the answerNT lmcdonald 1:31pm · 10/19/22

See below. Pyne is rated better than 3 of the 5.NT oldirish 2:40pm · 10/19/22
      - Doesn't hold water. Per ESPN QBR, Pyne is 28th out of 121 putting him inside the top 25% of college Link oldirish 1:03pm · 10/19/22

Cal's QB, Stanford's QB, Marshall's QB. Only BYU (by 8 spots) and UNC's are better. Oddly enough the oldirish 1:07pm · 10/19/22
      - Game plans suck! QB coaching sucks and has sucked. Pyne is good enough.NT GaSubwayIrish 1:40am · 10/19/22

        Pyne isn't good enough.NT jimbasil 12:53pm · 10/19/22

With all do respect. He's ranked 28th. That's a lot better than what your eyes are seeing and your oldirish 11:31pm · 10/19/22

Explain how Pyne is 3-0 going into Stanford but not good enough?! GaSubwayIrish 3:18pm · 10/19/22

Pyne is good enough as a game manager ndunabomber 9:17am · 10/20/22

Bout the size of it. No reason that game should have been lost even with Pyne. Frank L 12:44pm · 10/20/22

You aren’t wrong. But he also isn’t a difference maker that you need to step up against better Frank L 12:36pm · 10/19/22

        I never said he was a difference maker. I concede he isn't. GaSubwayIrish 3:09pm · 10/19/22

This is 100% true. One of the few advantages of being there is you can see stuff like that. Frank L 12:30pm · 10/19/22

I agree with this. But this performance doesn't erase what he did the previous 3 games. GaSubwayIrish 3:34pm · 10/19/22

He is good enough to win sometimes if things are set up properly for him and he’s having a good day. Frank L 12:49pm · 10/20/22

You seem to forget that Pyne had a TD pass overturned as well. GaSubwayIrish 12:15pm · 10/19/22

He also had an int erased against Marshall, which you and Old Guy said means it doesn’t count Frank L 12:33pm · 10/19/22

He's 3-1, and the 1 was digging out of someone elses hole. Let's only focus on the 1. Makes senseNT oldirish 11:33pm · 10/19/22

LOL. His Marshall appearance is hardly a measuring stick of how good he is. But you are right .. GaSubwayIrish 3:11pm · 10/19/22

And anyone who puts any blame on the defense just doesn't know football. They gave up 16 pts. GaSubwayIrish 12:11pm · 10/19/22

They don’t give up a lot of points, but they have some glaring flaws. Too many 3rd downs given up, Frank L 1:41pm · 10/19/22

Serious ? When was the last time anything re: ND football was elite? Gotta start where you are.NT oldirish 2:42pm · 10/19/22

Your last sentence is my point. QBs this year were starting their very first games in college. GaSubwayIrish 12:08pm · 10/19/22

  - Exactly. He was a back up to another mediocre QB for a reason. Still, no reason he couldn’t Frank L 9:29pm · 10/18/22
    - Most QB's would have been mediocre with the awful line play in the first two games. ndunabomber 9:21am · 10/19/22
