I applaud Freeman’s openness to Feedback, desire to improve, humility, and obvious commitment, but this underscores his complete lack of qualification for the role.
He’s asking the guy who just beat him what his team did wrong. A head coach should either know that or have assistants who do. This suggests he trusts a guy he just met more than his assistants. It’s one thing to have a mentor and another to go hat in hand to the guy who just out coached you. Yikes.
