- It remains to be seen how the committee will treat conference championship game losses Nigel Tufnel 11:25am · 11/11/24
  - I saw somewhere the committee will not penalize teams that lose that game MarkHarman 3:07pm · 11/11/24
    - How the winner of the conference games dominate them should mean a lot. I still don't know how THEISMANCARR 6:28pm · 11/11/24
    - That is going to be difficult to pull off depending on what "not penalize" means D2 4:16pm · 11/11/24
    - every team should be given credit or criticism for every game....NT KWIRISH 3:10pm · 11/11/24

100%. If an SEC gets blown out in the confence game vs. loses by 1 pt....for example...NT KWIRISH 4:03pm · 11/11/24
  - A team should never be better off missing the conf title game ndphysics 11:35am · 11/11/24
    - Agree if you are only considering teams from their own conference making it to the playoffsNT ndinga 2:14pm · 11/12/24
      - But the lose should definitely effect how they are ranked v teams outside their confNT ndinga 2:16pm · 11/12/24
    - Agree somewhat, but in what scenario does anyone ever Chrisb 2:45pm · 11/11/24
      - The simple solution is no conf title games but that’s not going to happenNT ndphysics 3:10pm · 11/11/24

Agreed, but in essence that is what you're already doing if the ""loss"" doesn't count in CCG Chrisb 3:52pm · 11/11/24

        But what about the MONEY!?!?!?!?!NT ndphysics 7:13am · 11/12/24

Life is about decisions...if they care about the money that much, then they gotta accept dropping Chrisb 8:37am · 11/12/24
    - Philosophically, I agree, however the super conferences mean a lot of teams don't play each other iairishcheeks 12:08pm · 11/11/24
- Alabama could jump us with 2 top 10 wins and an SEC title.NT ndphysics 11:08am · 11/11/24
  - If they win the SEC, jumping us in the rankings is irrelevantNT Irish_Demon 11:30am · 11/11/24
