Sad to say, but it's true.

Nobody has distinguished himself.

We thought Greathouse would be, but he hasn't done jack shit, injury or not.

For awhile, we thought it might be Collins, but he has rubbed butter on his fingers lately.

Jayden Thomas is old and slow.

Faison looks like a midget out there and hasn't lived up to his promising freshman year.

Colzie is fading into oblivion after an undistinguished career.

Highly rated Cam Williams, Micah Gilbert, a star in the spring game, and Logan Saldate are in the witness protection program.

Kris Mitchell was supposed to be our home run threat, but he has rarely even gone long, and hasn't been targeted much, but he has played pretty well despite.

Finally, we saw a glimmer of hope: Jayden Harrison against Virginia. A 78 yard TD was called back because of a penalty! A gamebreaker! Stop the presses! What is that again? OMG, he really showed something and had a real TD to go with the one that was called back.

As we finish the year, our best bets are Mitchell and Harrison. We should feature them. And could we wake up and start featuring TE Mitchell Evans? He's OK now, and was listed as a pre-season All-American, but nobody told the coaching staff apparently.

Our WR coach, Mike Brown, has been a bust. He has gotten almost nothing from this WR room. He should be replaced, although it wouldn't have hurt, if he had better talent to work with in the first place. However, since he is a big part of the effort to recruit WRs, that's on him (Unfortunately, next year's WRs class sucks, too).

Memo to Marcus:

Upgrade your WR recruiting. Go to the portal. Also, tell Denbrock to get his head out of his ass and start calling some imaginative passing plays, and feature the few players that actually have some talent. Finally, next time, get a QB who can actually pass the football.
