Marcus Freeman doesn't have any coaching experience at the NFL level, even as a position coach, much less as a coordinator.
The Bears are going to need a seasoned coach who won't make rookie mistakes. Either that, or they need a fall guy to take the blame for the GM's ineptitude.
Coach Freeman loves Notre Dame with his heart and soul. He became a Catholic, and has fully embraced the culture and tradition. His players also love him and would run through brick walls if he commanded them to do so.
I doubt he's going anywhere, as long as he can keep winning.
I'm guessing that Ron Rivera is the favorite, seeing how he played for the Bears, and knows how to build up a team.
