BYU is a very good team, but not the high stakes badass a la Ohio State or Bama

That makes a big difference, because being nervous and playing tight sets the stage for a team to lose. In fact, it's all we ever saw from Purpleface's teams when they faced elite teams in high-stakes games, i.e., they could never rise to the occasion and often did not even look like they belonged on the same field.

We haven't been tested yet by an elite this season, and we won't be this Saturday. Yes, we could still lose, but BYU doesn't carry the psychological weight that often would cripple us in truly big games.
