IMHO...this game will be all about consistency and patience.
1. Will the offensive line be consistent enough...consistently physical...while punishing smaller BYU defense for four quarters?
2. Will the team, staff, and Notre Dame fans be patient enough to allow that advantage to prove itself in the late third and fourth quarters?

If ND can run effectively and CJ can pick his spots wisely and be patient, the offense will not need to hesitate...just hammer away until the stone wall cracks and tumbles. I am quite certain the fan base will be quite impatient as is the proven demeanor of a frontrunner. But victory lies in the physicality of the the offensive line. They can do it...but it can't be done on paper, on screen, or on a mic. It must be done on the field of play. We will see. After all, college football is played by 19-23 year old kids, with a pointed ball, in the midst of chaos, with 22 kids making instant decisions...what could go wrong. As a former veteran, I will admonish Zero defects mode. Stay tuned.
