Absolutely! Pre 1988, this would have never happened. Post 1988, ND would have top recruiting classes until the SAT’s came out. I say get with the program, drop the academic requirements (why be the only ones) and start beating the big boys. It’s been blah for 40 years and now things have never been more even with the NIL. If they would land a few of those SEC/OSU recruits, they would get back to unbeatable, and they would come to ND being on national TV every week.
