But there's a better aka correct way to play zone than let them catch the ball then tackle them. One is getting better pressure on the QB. The other is playing tighter or just plain better zone D. Better jams better release to the safety. Disrupting the ball quickly like the Bears used to do. Which I think is the they arent executing excuse. Which may be right. But it's how many games in since Ash got here and they still cant do it? So where's the blame lie? They ought to be able to teach zone in 2 years.
