Navy football prepared these two pilots for their escape in Iran.
Flying over the Iranian desert, a Navy pilot and co-pilot had their jet shot down.
They parachuted safely to the ground, but were soon captured by Abdul and Malik, who by, chance, were driving through the area.
Their captors couldn't believe how unafraid the pilots looked. Then, the pilot winked at the co-pilot, and they went into action.
Two perfect chop blocks! Abdul and Malik were writhing in pain and cursing them with Farsi F-bombs.
The pilots quickly disarmed them and walked away laughing and high-fiving. They knew that they had blown out the knees of their captors and they wouldn't be able to pursue them.
"The Battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton" or, in this case, the playing fields of Notre Dame Stadium.
When they received their medals for bravery, the pilots said that they couldn't have done it without first practicing on the Notre Dame tackling dummies. They had honed their skills on them.
End the Navy series now!
