As many of the moms in my family have said, what a powerful role model Coach Freeman is for a young black man today. Successful. Articulate and dignified. Committed to wife and family. Serious about faith. Passionate about a career he clearly loves. The kind of man you want your boys -regardless of race, actually - to be around. As my wife has said, “I wish our boys could have played for him.” Also doesn’t hurt that he’s good looking.

I imagine he is a very heavy hitter in the in-home visits.
