I do enjoy the telecast when McDonogh / McElroy are in the booth. Same for Ness / Daniels.

Back in the day Ron Franklin /Mike Gottfried and Summerall / Madden was must see TV. Going back even further, Curt Gowdy, Ray Scott, Dick Enberg, and Chris Schenkel made these games more enjoyable to watch. So, IMHO, the booth was important to a more enjoyable TV viewer. I notice ESPN isn't ditching any of these non essential sorority sideline gals.
