Last year a reshirt freshman QB who wasn't properly prepared the year prior. Leading to conservative play calling that lost them the Miami game. Texas A&M was just a good team. Should have split those 2 games.
Top that off with a new DC and a defense that didnt seem to have the some of the right pieces playing, or in the right spots. And a new zone concept the players didnt really grasp until later in the year.
And the year before that a first year starter with no experience with the offense, who never really did develop as a passer. Which hurt them when it counted.
Hopefully they learn they need to have more than one player with quality snaps at QB. Preferably 3 by the end of the year.
