That strategy worked well at Ohio State, because the defensive line was littered with NFL draft picks.

Our defensive line in 2025 wasn't anywhere nearly that caliber, and we needed to bring a linebacker or defensive back for pressure at times.

Once he started doing that, the defense solidified a lot.

This year, he knows to bring extra pressure as needed, but the important part is that we have a very deep pool of talent all along the defensive line, and his tOSU defense could actually work well.
