Denbrock needs to find a way to develop a 3rd WR that Carr can go to

I was hoping it would be Greathouse but yet again he wasn't targeted very much in the game.

You can tell they tried to get #3 Graham more involved but to no avail as he finished with 0 receptions.

B/t Graham and Porter, it seems like neither of the Ohio State x-fers are going to make any kind of impact.

The good news is that ND has 16 (yes...16) WRs on the roster to choose from. It's time to get one of the younger guys (like Burress, Fitzgerald, Bettis or Frazier) into the mix. We have arguably the best QB in the country, we need to give him the tools to work with.

Next week would be good as a time as any to get some of the younger guys more involved. Belichick has underwhelmed at UNC so far, but the guy knows defense and I guarantee one of the things he'll have his defense focus on in practice this week is shutting down Faison & Gilbert and forcing Carr to look elsewhere. Considering how weak our running game has looked finding a reliable 3rd option at WR might be a necessity.

And who knows, perhaps we have the next Will Fuller or Golden Tate on the roster & we just don't know it yet.
