HIndsight is always 20/20 and in this case the Republican campaign strategeries were PATHETIC.

Long shot populist neophyte candidates. horrific misallocastion of campaign funding, neglected focus on critical voting groups, ineffectual messaging regarding abortion, and Trump's drag effect witrh independents.

It's all so clear today... why did no one see it coming?

What's worse is that it's unlikely that any of this gets fixed.

Result: the Dems can win regardless of how badly they govern.

Our best hope is a perpetually divided government.

By himself, no. He's just a significant factor, including in the choices for candidates.

By leadership that controls the cabbage, I mean that old hag Mitch. The problem is the Rs don't have the kahoonas to challenge him and so here we are. He interfered in the Alaskan R primary and that is unacceptable.

Mitch has not acquited himself well at all these midterms.

They delivered on a number of big items.

The Party of No didn’t.

Voters want solutions, not just blame and fear messaging.

They are governing the border extremely well. The never ending funding for Ukraine is top notch.

Dumbing down of our education system is one for the ages. Masks. Jabs. More Masks. More jabs. The Afghanistan withdrawal received two thumbs up. The mass confusion from early mail in voting is a shining star on the world stage. Gas prices, food prices, baby formula shortage, fentanyl, opioid deaths all is a net positive to the average voter. They give it five stars. And this is in only two years. Can't wait for what goodness lies ahead.

Let's take a look at ELP's never ending list of complaints...(without any alternative solutions...).

>"Dumbing Down" the Educational System?...would help if you provided even one specific example...

>Masks...they "Reduce" the spread of airborne diseases like COVID-19...and well worn N95s allow Health Care workers to spend hours in hospitals and clinics treating infected patients.
>Jabs....they REALLY work...95+% of ICU patients are "Un-vaccinated"...case closed....note: when countries like Japan buy into Masks and Jabs (even Boosters), they end up with 10% of the U.S. death rate per capita...what more do you need to know about 'Masks & Jabs'?

>Afghanistan...if you don't care about getting Afghanis who helped save U.S. lives out, then schedule an exit for U.S. troops only by May, 2021 and have smooth sailing, like Trump planned...if you want to get, say 120,000 helpful Afghanis out, you push the security envelope to the max and schedule an Aug/Sep exit, which Biden did...not as pretty, but WAY MORE effective.

>Mail-In Voting...for the 'Umpteenth Time'...Oregon has been using Mail-In Voting since 1998 without a single race being marred by fraud...and in 2020, every single state, Red or Blue, certified the election results...biggest Lie/Trope we've ever seen.

>Gas Prices...Food Prices...Baby Formula shortage...all due to global inflation brought on by COVID and Putin...nothing to do with Dems...can you prove otherwise?

>Fentanyl...started growing in 2014, per DEA report, and really expanded during Trump admin...still a vexing problem, but DJT didn't solve anything...in fact, as I've shown, he 'De-Funded' key programs in the anti-addiction fight...not helpful...whereas, Biden has increased funding...bet you didn't know that.

>"Open Border"...no more open than before...just more people knocking on the door...same Border Patrol...same Laws...same Quotas being adhered to...but...actually 'processing' applicants and not turning our back on them...show us any specifics that prove your assertion of "Open Borders" under Biden that weren't there before.

>Ukraine...Even the GOP supports U.S. funding for Ukraine's defense...you're out on a lonely island on this one, ELP...

Meanwhile, Biden admin gets long overdue, bi-partisan infrastructure bill passed...CHIPS Act passed to strengthen our critical semiconductor industry and national security...and other legislation...all in two years...

Just complaining shows no intellect in any of these matters...you need to exert some effort here, ELP.

All your counter points have been regurgitated over and over by the MSM. Just the fact that you have a justification for everything screams that this debate is not worth the effort. It never is with the left. Why should I exert some effort on a free anonymous message board? You think for one second that you would agree with any of my finer points? For the "umpteenth time", your arguments are meant for your satisfaction. It means zero to me.

thoughts and ideas...not simply a wall with graffiti written on it by anonymous posters. When you refuse to defend your statements it shows that you really don't have any confidence in them...otherwise you'd jump at the chance to show how right you were.

Literally anyone can utter a complaint...but it takes wisdom to show you truly understand what is behind that concern...and better yet, how it might be resolved...thus far, you haven't shown any such capacity...give it a try and respond to the replies I've made to each of your complaints.

Biggest disappointments:
1. The disinformation governance Board, I had high hopes for this. In the absence of journalism, we need the government to tell us what is true.
2. What is this business of trying to increase fossil fuel supply? High fossil fuel prices reduce consumption organically, which is what I thought was going to save the planet.
3. Failure to make abortion legal past birth. If mother's can't kill their children, we are doomed as a society. It is the civil rights fight of our era.
