Let me explain where the country finds itself. The President is an idiot. A recession is now here.

The Republicans have no serious proposals to cure the problems for Americans. They only want to imprison Biden’s son. Will that slow rising energy, food, and retail prices. No.

It's important to get to the bottom of the HB laptop story.

If for no other reason, to hold journalists and Intel community figures accountable.

Also, why has there not been a special counsel appointed to look into the matter?

We can say: "Good, Trump's not president and it doesn't matter how that came to be." Like Sam Harris did. But setting that good outcome aside, it must be investigated in the open, with transparency. To not investigate would be a "threat to democracy"!

You are absolutely wrong about GOP having no solutions for Biden's economic problems.....

....the first and most important action to be taken in a trauma case (that is what we have financially now due to the out of control spending) is to stop the bleeding. The fact that the Republicans have taken control of the House is in and of itself the first step in any plan....stanch the bleeding (spending) of money.
The next plan they have (but no power to enact it) is to deregulate the energy sector and foster the growth of our recently beaten down oil and shale industry as well as foster our nuclear power industry. Thus, the next part of the plan that is absolutely required to save our country's economy is to remove the causitive agent....liberal leadership. Thus, DeSantis '24.

Be honest. You know that this is the only solution to this problem. It is also going to be very painful no matter what. Just remember who did this. It was the Democrats...the liberals.

Agree on the idea that energy deregulation would help.

Disagree that Republicans will cut spending in a way that would make a difference to the economy.

That is not the GOP lacking a solution, it is the liberals blocking the solution….

On Hunter's laptop, it's important to root out corruption, but in the grand scheme of things what is more relevant...
- determining whether or not Hunter was selling access to Joe?
- the fact that DHS and the FBI colluded with social media during the election to label any posts about the laptop as misinformation?

The former is run-of-the-mill corruption, the latter is election tampering and unconstitutional. I wonder if the GOP's focus on the former is because they see an opportunity to leverage the latter in the same way the Dems have. I hope not.

virtue signaling that sets back the country, the GOP does nothing but complain. People want a platform, and it needs to be more than bitching about Biden and abortion. The GOP candidate who brings forward a legitimate plan and can effectively socialize it will be the GOP's candidate and more than likely president.

Truthfully, I think the Republicans want to tie Joe to his sons business dealings.
